One to One Maths Tutoring
KS1, KS2 and KS3 Mathematics
I offer individualised mathematics tuition for pupils from 5 years old to GCSE. Each session is individually tailored to the pupil’s needs, helping with understanding, application, consolidation and confidence throughout the mathematics curriculum. I love to make maths fun, especially for my younger pupils and use games to help support learning and improve knowledge retention. I also teach skills to help pupils with testing, including the KS2 SATs.
GCSE Mathematics (including iGCSE)
I specialise in tutoring the AQA GCSE syllabus, however I do also tutor Edexcel and OCR. I teach both foundation and higher levels, supporting pupils to reach their fullest potential in class, and in their exams. Alongside curriculum support, I also support my pupils with revision planning, practice testing and exam technique.
One to One English Tutoring
KS1 and 2 English
All sessions are designed to support the needs of the individual pupil, whether they need support with reading and phonics skills, understanding and comprehension, spelling and grammar, or creative writing. For many of my pupils, we work on a mixture of skills each week, building up confidence and alongside building knowledge.
Home Education Tuition
Whatever the reason you are home educating, I can create a tailored approach to teaching your child. I teach home education during the daytime, focusing on English and Mathematics, with parents/carers wishing to keep to the national curriculum skill levels, but on a more individualised basis.
Many of my home education pupils have been working towards national qualifications, such as iGCSEs.
